Thank you to Grace who treated my mum and I so attentively. I really appreciate all the advice she gave to help me continue treating and caring for my hair.

This is a modest friendly salon for any ladies who wear a headscarf and want to have their hair styled in privacy. Everything has been though of from the curtain across the washing basins and the positioning of the styling chairs.

The team made us very comfortable and the value for the treatments is very reasonable for a salon so close to central London.

The Kurdish barber was a bit disrespectful when engaging in small talk and made me really uncomfortable. We somehow touched on religion when he asked me where I am from, to which I replied that I am from a Muslim country but I am not a Muslim. And he asked why was I not a Muslim and I replied I don’t believe in Islam, after which he said maybe soon you will become one. So that made me really uncomfortable.

But the haircut was fine.

Love this place, a proper authentic barber shop right in centre of City Island. Great service from Owet, really nice guys and a lovely setup inside. I went in to sort the hair out on back of my neck and they didn’t even charge me, was really kind and unexpected. Will def come back here for full beard trim soon. Cheers gents! 🙏

I have been here twice, both times the experience was very good. The most recent time I had a scissor cut with Sam. He was very friendly, attentive and asked questions about what I wanted. He did a great job with the haircut and a very nice tapered finish. I will be back again and I recommend the barbershop

I had a fantastic experience with Grace! She is incredibly attentive, taking the time to understand exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place even though I live in the area. I came in just now and waited 45 mins for a haircut only then to be told that as I didn’t have an appointment i wouldn’t be seen: if they had bothered to tell me as I walked in then no problem but what a waste of time.

I had a great experience at the salon, I needed a last minute blow-out for a wedding the next day and it was really easy to book. The staff were really friendly and Grace, the hairstylist, explained the condition of my hair and how to look after it. I got a wash, cut, blow dry and balayage without bleach with Jenny and I now have beautiful glossy chocolate brown that moves with the light! Jenny is an expert and listens to what you want and is sensitive around your concerns and anxiety regarding hair. I gave indication of what I wanted and then completely trusted her to do her magic and I’m really happy with it. Jenny is funny and lovely and makes you feel at ease by talking you through the process and giving good advice about hair (and life). Thank you, and to Grace!

The staff is really pleasant and welcoming, the prices are great, and I will definitely come back.

The haircut is good, but during the process, the barber shaved (or trimmed) my sideburns in width, which I didn’t ask for. Now, it itches a little because new hair is starting to grow back and the difference is visible.

Because of this, I can’t give a 5-star rating.

You need to come here! I haven’t received customer service like this in a long time. I was in a situation where I needed to cut my hair in an emergency. Despite me calling up last minute and not having a booking, Jenny listened to me and she offered to take me on and stay longer despite her shift finishing. Where do you see customer service like that!

The way I am so grateful , she made me feel comfortable , she didn’t rush my hair and she left me feeling like me again after she did my hair. She cut it just the way I wanted it and my hair has never felt more alive.

Thank you Jenny for your utmost service and for making me feel welcome and thank you for your sweet personality. I absolutely loved my first time here.

Team Masters has recently opened right next to where I live. It is nicely decorated and clean inside. I had a great hair cut from Dani who was really helpful. I didn’t really know what I wanted and he helped me try a couple of different lengths and gave me some suggestions.
